Coon Island Cruise

We're taking our classic 1955 fantail ship "Reliant" on a quick jaunt to Coon Island just outside of Scappoose to see what is only accessible by boat!

Sunday, March 23 at 1pm

Coon Island, or JJ Collins Marine Park, is a serene, 23-acre island in the middle of the Multnomah Channel about seven miles from the confluence of the Columbia River and the Multnomah Channel. We will cruise about 45 minutes to the island ... then dock for passengers to bird watch, relax onboard, get an insider's look at "Reliant" with our knowledgeable captain, or deboard for a bit to explore the 1.5-mile nature trail ... then we'll return to Scappoose for a total tour time of approximately 3 hours.

Park in the back gravel lot at The Lodge Carts in Scappoose with departure from Lighthouse Marina (we’ll drive you there!). Please be ready to board our shuttle by 12:30pm.

We encourage you to show up early to buy some delicious food from the awesome and varied vendors at The Lodge Carts to thank them for their hospitality!

After deboarding at Lighthouse Marina, our shuttle will bring you back to your vehicle at no additional charge. Please factor this time into your schedule.
